This event is organized by the Singapore Chess Federation, and Northland Primary School, and will be played under the FIDE Laws of Chess.
Open to all juniors (born in 1995 or after).

5. Time Control and Format:
5.1 Pairing: Total 8 Rounds. Individual Swiss using Swiss Manager Unicode. Zero-Start shall be applied.
5.2 Rating: This is a FIDE-rated event.
5.3 Rate of play: 120 minutes per player, without time increment (standard chess).
5.4 Recording of moves: In the course of play, each player is required to record his own moves and those of his opponent in the correct manner. Both players must record the offer of a draw on the score sheet. Players not recording moves shall have no right of claim in a dispute.
5.5 Tie-breaks: In the case of a game point tie for first place, Direct Encounter, Buchholz Cut 1 & Buchholz Cut 2), SB (Sonneborn-Berger), and PS (Progressive Score) shall be used in this order.
There are 10 categories (age as at 1st January 2015): Open & Girls Under-8, Under-10, Under-12 & Under-14, and Under-20 Category. The SCF reserves the right to merge categories which have less than 10 players.
Prizes shall be awarded to the Top 10 participants in each category.
Additional medals shall be given to all Young Talents (Under-6: born in 2009 or after)
8. Entry Fee: S$50 (All Players)
9. Registration & Closing Date:
Entry must be submitted in the attached registration form with full payment to the SCF.
Limited to first 400 entries on or before 16 November 2015 by 1800 hours.
Late surcharge of S$50.00 will be imposed for entries AFTER 16 November 2015, subjected to the acceptance of SCF.
10. Qualification for the SCF National Squads Training:
This event qualifies eligible players for the National Junior Squad. SCF Selection & Training Guidelines 2015 shall apply.
11. Singapore Chess Federation (SCF) as Organizer:
11.1 The SCF has the right to accept or reject entries without assigning any reason.
11.2 Organizer's decisions on any appeals made, other than on Arbiter's decisions, are final.
12. Entry Fees are transferred to the Singapore Chess Federation. All bank commissions must be paid by the sender.
