The Eastern Asia Youth Chess Championship kicked off with the Rapid segment on 05 November 2022. 17 participants from the Singapore Contingent participated in the 7 round event.

We are proud to have bagged 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze Medals respectively.

The Medallists are:

• Ashwath Kaushik, Champion U8
• Sreekarthika Velmuguran, Champion GU10
• Mia Wang, Silver GU8
• Alyssa Ng, Silver GU10
• Ray Tan, Bronze U12
