1. The Organiser is KCFAP. Laws of Chess apply. These RAPID events are FIDE-rated and players must have a FIDE ID. Singaporeans/SPRs should apply for a FIDE ID from Singapore Chess Federation. Non-SC/SPR must apply through their respective national federations.
2. Eligibility: Organiser reserves the right to accept or reject any entry without assigning any reason.
3. Venue: No. 8 Jalan Ikan Merah, Singapore 578039. (5 minutes’ walk from Thomson MRT). Parking is available at the HDB blocks nearby.
4. Dates/Times: From 2.45 pm to 7.30 pm.

5. The Organiser reserves the right to re-pair those players whose opponents are not present at the start.
6. Format & Time Control: 6-rounds Swiss. Rapid 20 minutes per player. Organiser reserves the right to amend the time control and/or the number of rounds due to special circumstances arising.
7. Prizes: Rapid – $160; $120; $100; $80; $60 subject to minimum 20 entries in each event. Trophies to the Top 3 each in Rating Categories <1100, <1050 & Unrated. Trophies to the Top 3 each in Age-Group Categories U8 & U11 (age as on 1 January 2023).
8. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Chief Arbiter shall be FINAL, and no further correspondences shall be entertained.
9. Entry Fee Per Event is Rapid $45. Discount of $5 for a participant who registers for Saturday & Sunday Rapid within the same weekend; that is $80 total. Discount of $5 for each member of a family nucleus (parent, child, sibling). Register with Name, FIDE ID and proof of payment to WhatsApp Mobile 96337946.
10. Due to space constraint, limited to first 24 PAID UP entries. The Organiser reserves the right to accept additional entries. After payment, no refund and no switching of dates will be allowed. The Players Start List will be published on www.chess-results.com 2 days before an event.
Note: Due to numerous major international assignments from June to December, the KCFAP tournament series will end in May 2023.
