SG Chess Festival 2023
June 4 - June 11
We are excited to share that this year’s SG Chess Festival shall be held from 4 – 11 June 2023, at Jurong Spring Community Club. The main highlight of this year’s event is the Prof Lim Kok Ann International Open to commemorate Prof Lim’s outstanding contributions to Singapore Chess. This tournament is eligible for title norms, and shall be a key qualifying event for the SCF’s NJDS, HPI, HP and NTP programs.
GMs and WGMs shall be provided with twin sharing accommodation, and we have also introduced more prizes across different rating categories, and also veteran prizes for players above the age of 50.
There are other side events as well, such as rapid, blitz and team tournaments so there is something for everyone. Do keep a look out as we will be announcing more side events in the days to come.
