‘Temperāmentum’ June Workshops
June 12 @ 4:00 pm - June 23 @ 7:00 pm
Temperāmentum or Temperament in Latin, is a key skill required for chess players to excel. We often notice chess players, especially young children, making rushed decisions during a chess game. The ability to deeply analyse a position in a calm and composed manner is a skill that requires significant guidance, time and practice to improve.
In this course, the trainers will focus on helping players improve their ability to analyse and cultivate the skill of planning. Students will be provided with curated examples to practise deep analysis both individually and in a team. Through repetitive practice, students can expect to improve their ability to analyse logically. We also hope that students can bring this ability to other aspects of life outside of chess.
