Event: Kick Off 2022 Tournament

Eligibility: Open to all - Non vaccinated participants must produce ART test results administered or supervised by MOH-approved COVID-19 Test Providers, and submitted to Tournament Director on all tournament dates prior to round commencement. Only individuals under the age of 12 are exempted from having to complete ART tests.

Date: 30 Dec 2021 - 2 Jan 2022

Format and Time Control: FIDE Rated, 90 minutes + 30 second increment from move 1
Recording of game is compulsory after every move

December Rating Tournament I:  6-9 Dec + 13-15 Dec

December Rating Tournament II: 20-23 Dec + 27-29 Dec

Singapore Chess Federation is holding 2 FIDE Standard Rating Tournaments in December 2021.

Registration Fee:
$20 (non SCF Members) and $16 (SCF Members) for FIDE 1800 and above

No entry fee for IMs and GMs.

1. Organiser     : The event is organised by the Singapore Chess Federation

2. Schedule      : 19th June 2021(Sat) 2 pm to 6 pm Round 1 to 4

                            20th June 2021(Sun) 10.30 am to 4.30 pm Round 5 to 9

3. Venue            : SCF - 51 Bishan Street 13 #01A SIGC, Singapore 579799

4. Eligibility       : Open to ALL Players under SGP flag with a minimum rating of                                                        1600 (Any of the 3 FIDE time control, minimum rating of 1500 for Women)

5. Format           : Swiss System of 9 rounds. 15 minutes with 10 second increment.

                              Default time is 15 minutes

                             This is a FIDE Rated event played under FIDE’s Law of Chess

6. Prizes            : 1st $500; 2nd $300, 3rd $200, 4th to 5th $100 each, 6th to 10th $50 each.

                             Women 1_^st $200, 2_^nd $150, 3_^rd $100

7. Entry Fee      : $60 (Public); $40 (Players currently registered in SCF Programs)

8. Closing Date: First 50 entries or Saturday 8th May 2021 6pm, whichever come first.

                             Late entries and entries without payment will not be accepted.

                             Entry Fees are non-refundable.

9. Dispute         :  In the event of any disputes (outside the FIDE Laws of Chess), the                                               Chief Arbiter’s decision shall be final and no further correspondence shall                                      be entertained.

10. Dress Code    : Smart Casual.

11. Proof of Entry: Proof of postage/email is not proof of entry. SCF reserves the right to                                            accept or reject any Entry without assigning any reason.

"The 18th QCC Age Group Chess C'ship 2021" scheduled on 4/4/21 is cancelled. The Queenstown Community Centre will be used as a Vaccination Centre for Corvid-19. Reimbursement for entry fees will be done in due course. Sorry for the inconvenience caused."

In view of the current Covid-19 situation, the 17th QCC Age Group Chess C'ship 2020 has been renamed as the 18th QCC Age Group Chess C’ship 2021 and will be held on 4/4/2021.

Players who are not able to play on this date can claim a refund of their entry fee from Queenstown CC. For clarification, please kindly contact Mr. Lim Chye Lye @ 86121618.
