Junior Preparatory Squad (JPS)
This training is targeted at trainees who are interested in competing in both casual or serious tournaments. The focus areas include preparation for games, tournament approach, revision of important tactical and strategic motifs, important laws of chess that trainees should be mindful and many others.
Course Format: 8 x Theory Lessons
Course Fee: $305.20 inclusive of GST

- Saturday (Apr 5, 12, 19, 26 | May 3, 10, 17, 24) (1pm – 3pm)
- Sunday (Apr 6, 13, 20, 27 | May 4, 11, 18, 25) (9am – 11am)
- Sunday (Apr 6, 13, 20, 27 | May 4, 11, 18, 25) (11am – 1pm)
- Monday / Tues* (Apr 7, 14, 21, 28 | May 5, 13*, 19, 26) (3pm – 5pm)

Terms & Conditions
- Entries must be submitted by Apr 3 2025, 11pm. Late entries will not be accepted
- Slots Given are on a FIRST COME-FIRST SERVE basis OR BY CLOSING DATE whichever comes first
- Payment via Paynow only. Student’s Name to be used as reference
- Confirmation of registration is subjected to full course fee payment
- Course fees paid are Non-refundable. Pro-rating of course fees is not allowed
- Trainers assigned by SCF may be subject to changes
- There will be no make up classes
- SCF reserves the right to accept/reject any trainees without assigning any reason
