Opening Ceremony kicks off FIDE World Championship Singapore 2024

The 2024 FIDE World Championship match between Ding Liren and Gukesh D kicked off in Singapore with the opening ceremony.

Packed to the brim with more than 400 guests, the magnificent Capitol Theatre, an architectural and lifestyle gem in the heart of Singapore’s civic and cultural district, hosted the festivities.
