Saturday Night Blitz

This initiative aims to bring together blitz chess enthusiasts through regular tournaments held twice a month – creating a consistent and engaging playing environment. Selected games will be recorded and shared on social platforms like YouTube to build visibility and community interest. As participation grows, there is potential to increase the frequency of events and expand available slots throughout each month.

Participants will be added to a dedicated group chat where upcoming tournaments are announced, forming an active “blitz club” with a mix of regular players and new joiners.

5. Cumulative system – Sum of Progressive Scores (Sum of Progressive Scores: After each round a player has a certain tournament score. These scores are added to determine the total Sum of Progressive Score)

Prizes:
Top 3 of each event can select book titles of their choosing at SCF
(Book prizes require minimum participation of 10 players)

Entry Fee:
Free for GMs/WGMs and IMs/WIMs
$10 Rated ($10.9 after GST)
$15 Unrated (16.35 after GST)
